Steven Wayne Kennedy, 62, of Fredericksburg, died Monday, Dec. 7, 2015, at Hill Country Memorial Hospital.
A memorial service was held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 10, at Oakwood RV Park Recreation Center.
Arrangements were under the direction of Schaetter Funeral Home.
Kennedy was born July 21, 1953, in Austin, the son of Robert Wilson Kennedy and Myrtle Stockton Kennedy. He married Jana Phillips on Aug. 24, 1997, in Burnet, and she survives.
In addition to his wife, Kennedy is survived by three daughters, one son and spouses, including Melanie Kennedy, Angel and Roland Brown, Amber and Ryan Lindley, and Steven Kennedy Jr.
Survivors also include 19 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and two sisters, Louise Wells and Carolyn Hammock and her husband, James.
Kennedy was preceded in death by his parents and two children, O’quita Charpio and JoJo Charpio, and two sisters, Nora Ann Schuhrke and Roberta Kennedy.
Memorials may be made in his memory to the charity of choice.
