Kenneth L. Reissig

Kenneth L. Reissig, 81, of Fredericksburg, died Thursday, May 28, 2015.

He was a victim of the Memorial Day weekend flooding in Blanco County. His body was recovered the following week.

Graveside services and interment of the cremains was held at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 11, at Greenwood Cemetery.

Arrangements and cremation were under the direction of Fredericksburg Funeral Home.

Reissig was born March 14, 1934, in Victoria, the son of Francis Reissig and Blanche Dusek Reissig.

Reissig is survived by the following children and spouses: Joyce Kaiser of Indian Trail, North Carolina; Terri and Marc Philemon, York, South Carolina; Cindy and Charlie Barfield, Hickory, North Carolina; Tim and Amanda Reissig, Concord, North Carolina; David and Joyce Moseley, Bonners Ferry, Idaho; Mary Alice Aguilar, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Mark and Toni Moseley of Buda.

Survivors also include numerous grandchildren and two sisters, Delores Lund and Louise Cherry, both of Houston.

Memorials may be made to Hill Country SPCA, Hill Country Memorial Hospice, the Golden Hub or to the charity of choice.
